About
On making, and why
I came to painting the long way round: through photography, through architecture, through years of noticing how a single afternoon can hold a dozen different blues.
My work lives in that gap between seeing and remembering. I build each piece slowly, in layers, until the surface holds the same weight as the moment it came from.
